What a great find. Hotel Tibet is such an amazing place to stay whilst visiting Kathmandu. Close to the market area, The Palace and The Garden of Dreams. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance too. However, the best of all were the hotel staff, from the security guard, reception staff, breakfast and restaurant staff. They all made my husband and I feel like part of one huge family. Friendly , helpful and always ready to talk about Nepal and their way of life. We highly recommend the restaurant on the fifth floor that dished up some delicious meals. Thank you for making our time in Nepal a memorable one

Amazing ambience and hospitality

I was here a while ago and the hospitality was very nice. The staff from front office were very helpful and polite. And the view from restaurant is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting kathmandu. It’s near the stupa which makes it more convenient for us to visit one of the famous destinations in Nepal. If I get a chance to be back in Nepal I would definitely choose this hotel for my stay.

Firstly id like to say that I had a great stay and was offered great service by the team. The property was beautiful and the woodwork was very detailed. The properties rooftop restaurant Norbulinka Terrace had beautiful views of the UNESCO site Boudhanath stupa. The property also has a great coffee shop Akama cafe that serves the best Italian Illy coffee. All in all best hotel in Kathmandu. Do stay here if you want to relax and rejuvenate.

This was my second stay at Hotel Tibet, and I so looked forward to a few days of jet lag recovery at this comfortable, beautiful, well cared for place with its very friendly staff. I wasn’t expecting the gracious welcome back; Tsering Sherpa even remembered me, and surprised me with a free upgrade from a standard room to a spacious suite! The food is reliably good, with an extensive selection, and thoughtfully prepared; no worries about what to eat or not eat. I also took advantage of their spa, and got an excellent massage. All this, along with its proximity to the incredible Boudhinath Stupa makes Hotel Tibet International my number one pick in Kathmandu.

Was in this hotel for 3 nights. Property located in the heart of the city. Super fast check in & check out. Well maintained property. Room was comfortable with good quality bed. Clean bathroom with toiletries, clean linen & towels, tea coffee maker in the room. Food quality excellent. Restaurant on 7 th floor gives you bird’s eye view of the city. Lovely breakfast spread with variety. Pleasant to sit out under the heater sipping local brand of craft beer. The best thing about this hotel is their staff. Very polite, caring, smiling & attentive. Famous Boudhnath Stupa is walking distance from the hotel. This hotel is value for money
